Thank you for your interest in the 26th Annual Conference on Professional Issues! Pre-registration for this event closed on Wednesday, April 30. If you are still interested in attending, please review the information on the on-site registration process, outlined below.
Participants who register online will receive an automatic registration confirmation and receipt via email immediately following their submission. Receipts will be generated and emailed from CLC headquarters prior to the conference for those who submit their registration by fax or mail. Please bring this receipt with you to the conference. On-site registrants may request a receipt at the time of registration.

and determine which sessions and events you wish to attend. Then, bring your completed Conference Registration Form
, registration fees, and proof of full-time student status (if applicable) to the on-site registration desk, located in the Spinnaker room in the East Tower of the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina. While we make every effort to accommodate our on-site registrants, please be aware that certain events and sessions have been booked to capacity, and will not be available. Hospital tours and conference intensives are not available for on-site registrants.
The best discounted registration fees are available to those who register by March 25, 2008. The deadline for pre-registration is April 30, 2008, after which time, participants may only register on-site. Although we will do our best to accommodate everyone, those participants who register on-site may find there is only limited access to certain conference events. To avoid disappointment, we highly recommend that you pre-register well in advance of the conference.
Registration must be accompanied by full payment (Visa/MasterCard, or check or money order in U.S. funds, payable to Child Life Council). In order to be eligible for student rates, non-members must provide documentation of their full-time student status and include it with their registration form. CLC student members are not required to do so.

Join as a CLC member now and save on conference registration fees, in addition to receiving full member benefits all year long. You may apply for membership online using our safe and secure system. Once your credit card payment is processed, you may register online to get the member rate. If you are currently due to renew your membership, you must first “pay membership dues” through your CLC User Profile so that you are eligible to receive a CLC member discount. For those needing to pay for a new membership by check, a paper version of the membership application is also available from the Join CLC page.
Refund requests for CLC basic conference registration, minus a $50 service fee, will be honored if received in writing by CLC no later than Friday, May 2, 2008. No refunds will be given after that date. All cancellations must be requested in writing and signed by the registered individual. Refunds will be given for basic registration only—refunds are not available for the intensives, special events, exhibit hall guest passes or hospital tours.
Individuals who require special services to allow full participation in the conference must notify CLC in writing, no later than March 25, 2008.
