Forum Guidelines

List Serve Delivery Setting Options

The following are setting options for the CLC Forum or subgroups:

You can change these settings yourself via the CLC Forum Web interface, or CLC staff can assist you. Control your list serve settings by going to the CLC Forum, entering your email address, then go to clcforum, My Account, Membership Type, and change the setting.

 

Changing An Email Address

Please note that the CLC Web site is a separate and distinct system from the CLC Forum. If you have changed your email address in the CLC Forum, it will not automatically update your online CLC user profile and vice versa. To update your email address with CLC, please log in to your User Profile. To update your email address in the CLC Forum, please take the following steps:

  1. Log in to the CLC Forum
  2. Select the appropriate forum from the list of "My Forums" (e.g. clcforum, academics, directors, etc.)
  3. Select “My Account” from the menu on the left side of the screen
  4. Update your email address
  5. Select “Save Changes”

 

Out of the Office Setting

Any time you need to temporarily stop receiving the CLC Forum, you can control when you receive messages. Go to the CLC Forum, enter your email address, then go to clcforum, My Account, Membership Type, and change the setting to "No Mail."

After you have done this, you can set your email software's auto responder vacation message. This way, your auto responder will not reply to the whole Forum while you are away.

When you return, switch back to your current setting for the CLC Forum.
