The CLC Board of Directors recently approved a series of curriculum recommendations developed by the Academic Task Force. In response to member interest, and at the request of the CLC Executive Board, the Education Committee (now known as the Child Life Education & Training Committee) developed an internal program evaluation tool for academic programs. It is important to note that these self-review tools are based on the Official Documents of the Child Life Council, Standards for Academic and Clinical Preparation Programs. It is not the intent of Child Life Council to endorse or promote any program that takes part in this review. It is a voluntary process, to be used as an evaluation tool.
