Jennifer Lipsey, CEO

Jen is proud to be ACLP's CEO, a role in which she works to align resources and strategic initiatives to reach ACLP's strategic goals. She has a bachelor's degree in Child & Family Development and a master's in Marriage and Family Therapy. Jen’s career ambitions have consistently led her to organizations with missions that involve advocacy for under-represented/marginalized populations, and she has found a home with ACLP. As a mother to two young daughters, Jen has a deep appreciation for the art and skill intrinsic to the child life profession and aims to support ACLP members who so generously give to others every day. She pursues rich conversations, meaningful outcomes and dynamics that result in long-term partnerships. Jen welcomes all opportunities to engage others in appreciating the depth of child life and increasing exposure to ACLP’s members.

Bailey Kasten, COO

Bailey serves as the Chief Operating Officer and works with staff, volunteers, vendors and strategic partners to ensure the successful implementation of the Association’s goals and objectives.  In her role, she is committed to ensuring the organization reflects the strength, professionalism, creativity, and compassion of the child life community we serve, support, and champion. She is a proud graduate of American University in Washington, DC, and has over 13 years of association management experience. Bailey is the proud mother of two young children and the grateful recipient of child life services herself. When not at work, you can find her either playing outside with the kids, working in her beloved gardens, or helping with her family business, a chocolate company.

Ame Enright_220

Ame Enright, Director of Certification

As Director of Certification, Ame is responsible for the administration of the Child Life Professional Certification Program.  Ame joined the child life team in 2006 after transitioning from 10 years of full time parenting her two awesome children. Laughter, creativity, and kindness are important family values in the Enright household.  Ame graduated from Canisius College of Buffalo, NY, with a degree in Marketing. She also holds a degree in Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology of New York, NY, and earned the Institute for Credentialing Excellence’s Credentialing Specialist Certificate in 2017.

Yvonne Kassimatis, Director of Marketing & Communications

As the Director of Marketing & Communications Yvonne aligns the organization-wide branding and marketing communications to the strategic plan. She has extensive experience in marketing communications, creative services, advertising, publications, and account management. Yvonne has served in director-level roles for a variety of non-profit and for-profit organizations including the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD), American Society for Training & Development (ASTD), Sloan’s Auction Galleries, and Doubleday Book & Music Clubs. She earned her BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design in NYC. Yvonne has flown in a glider, canoed through whitewater, hiked in a rain forest, piloted a cigarette boat, and likes to keep her well-worn Timberlands in the car never knowing when an inviting detour will entice her to stray ‘outside the lines’ for a spontaneous adventure.

Meagan Roloff, MA, CCLS, Director of Partnerships

Meagan is ACLP’s Director of Partnerships. She manages ACLP’s grant-funded initiatives and partnerships with external organizations. She also serves as staff liaison to a variety of ACLP committees. Meagan earned her bachelor's degree in Human Development/Family Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her master's degree in Human Development from Pacific Oaks College. Prior to joining the ACLP staff, Meagan worked as a Certified Child Life Specialist in both hospital and community-based settings. Meagan loves classical music and regularly performs with choirs in the DC area.

Ramona Spencer, Director of Professional Development

In collaboration with ACLP staff and volunteer leaders, Ramona manages the planning and implementation of the ACLP Annual Conference. Ramona has many years of meeting planning experience. Prior to joining ACLP, she worked in a series of meeting planning positions, first as a corporate meeting planner for DaimlerChrysler, then for the Engineering Society of Detroit. She also has experience managing a wide range of government conferences and events. Ramona has a bachelor's degree in Communication from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Barb James_220



Barb James, Manager of Membership and Operations

As Manager of Membership and Database Operations, Barb handles membership questions and database duties.  Barb has worked in the professional association field for more than eight years, and she worked for AER (The Association for Education and Rehabilitation of the Blind and Visually Impaired) for almost 8 years before she moved to ACLP. Barb is also a proud Navy wife who has lived all over the country and the world. Barb has three adult children ages 26, 24 and 23 and a precious grandson. She likes to scrapbook, go wine tasting at local wineries, and spend time with her grandson.

Emily Eagon, Manager of Program Standards

As Manager of Program Standards, Emily works to support the operations of our endorsement and accreditation programs and serves as staff liaison to various ACLP committees. Emily’s prior experience includes teaching high school and kindergarten and working as the Human Resources Associate with Educators for Excellence. She holds degrees from the University of Minnesota and Pace University and is a huge Chicago Bulls fan.

Bea



Bea Wikander, Manager of Marketing & Communications

As Manager of Marketing and Communications, Bea works closely with other staff on external communications and manages exhibitor, sponsor, and advertiser engagements. She has degrees in Spanish and English literature and has worked as a project manager, cookbook publicist, and travel book editor. She enjoys reading, yoga, running, and outdoor adventures.

Alex Rodriguez, Certification Coordinator

Alex serves as ACLP’s certification/recertification coordinator, helping to manage the administrative tasks of the certification and recertification process. His previous work experience is in the non-profit arena, and he has worked for many associations in a variety of capacities. Alex’s experience includes certification and recertification administration, meeting planning, database management, and report development. Before joining ACLP, he worked for associations including North American Technician Excellence (NATE), National Contract Management Association (NCMA),and Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Alex’s favorite sports are soccer and football, and he is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Mary Bean, Event Coordinator

Mary is ACLP's Event Coordinator and works closely with all staff members on different projects such as database operations, certification, and conference. She has an administrative assistant associate degree and has worked in the professional association field for more than five years. She enjoys spending time with her son and daughter, reading, and relaxing at the beach.

Darryl

Darryl Lewis, Digital Marketing & Communications Coordinator

As Coordinator of Digital Marketing & Communications, Darryl aids in expanding ACLP's online presence by administering duties such as social media management, content development, and media outreach. Prior to joining ACLP, Darryl worked within a digital marketing agency for 4 years, and he is excited to apply this experience to propel the organization to new heights. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business from Stockton University. Darryl is an arts enthusiast who spends the bulk of his time marveling at urban murals, traversing art exhibits, enjoying live music performances, and creating his own masterpieces.
