Mary Barkey Clinical Excellence Award

The Mary Barkey Clinical Excellence Award was introduced in 2010 to honor child life specialists who have demonstrated exemplary child life care and a high level of clinical skill. Each year, the Awards Committee and Board of Directors will consider nominations and select one recipient, who will be honored at the ACLP Annual Conference.

Distinguished Service Award

Since 1988, ACLP has honored some of the child life profession’s outstanding leaders and pioneers with the Distinguished Service Award, which recognizes exceptional members for outstanding contributions to the field of child life. Award recipients are nominated by members of the ACLP Awards Committee, and reviewed and approved by the ACLP Board of Directors.

International Scholarships

International Awards

The Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) will provide five international scholarships to enable recipients to attend the Annual Conference taking place in the Washington D.C. Metro Area at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center.
