Volunteer Opportunities

At the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP), our progress is fueled by the vision of our leaders and by the hard work and commitment of a dedicated network of volunteers. Each year, we ask members to support the ACLP Board and staff in keeping our organization vital and strong. Participating on a committee or work group is a great way to enhance your resume, expand your professional network, and hone leadership skills.

For more information about our current committees, please see the Committees and Working Groups page.

How Can I Get Involved?

All current Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) members are eligible to volunteer. Committee and work group members typically serve a two-year term.

If you're unable to volunteer for a committee at this time but would like to support the organization, consider becoming an ACLP Social Ambassador. Social Ambassadors will be responsible for committing to share, promote, like, and/or comment on ACLP social media posts at least once a week. Social Ambassadors will be added to an email list for special social media volunteer opportunities and will receive recognition for their volunteer work. Participating as a Social Ambassador does not qualify for PDUs.
