LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group

This ACLP affinity group is for those in the child life profession who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. This meet up is an informal gathering and opportunity for people to share their identities in a safe and friendly environment while also creating connections. This is not a training or town hall. It will not be recorded, and there will not be a summary or notes released at a later date.

Allies of these communities are encouraged to respect the need to have a closed event.

ACLP’s LGBTQIA+ Affinity Group will meet the last Wednesday of every month at 1:30 PM EST with two exceptions:

  • On 8/23/2022, we will meet at 2:30 PM EST due to a time conflict with an ACLP webinar.
  • We will not meet in December

Each ACLP webinar is worth 1 PDU per hour, 1.5 PDUs per 1.5 hours.
