Dr. Scribbles is a company focused on improving the patient experience for children. The flagship product, Dr. Scribbles exam room table paper, offers games and coloring areas.

Project Sunshine
Project Sunshine is an international nonprofit that brings joy and play to pediatric patients through a corps of over 20,000 volunteers. According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, play is one of the most effective methods of reducing stress in kids. We support pediatric patients through in-person volunteering, Activity Kits, and through TelePlay, our newest program. TelePlay provides play and social interactions led by trained volunteers to children at home or in the hospital via a HIPAA-compliant Zoom platform. Project Sunshine in-person volunteers bring joy and play, as well as human connection, to children 425+ medical facility partners across the country. Project Sunshine Activity Kits are an individualized packet of materials to inspire play and engagement that are provided to medical facility partners for use with children. Connect-123 Global Practicum Programs
Connect-123 partners with universities to provide career-related practicum and internship programs across the globe. Since 2008, we have run Child Life programs in South Africa and, more recently, have developed a 4-week Child Life Practicum in Cape Town, which follows ACLP guidelines.
The program, which is led by Certified Child Life Specialists with decades of experience, including a past president of the ACLP, is one of the few international practicum experiences available to Child Life students and was a finalist for the GoAbroad Innovation Awards.

Aflac has contributed more than $150 million to pediatric cancer research and treatment since 1995, and most recently introduced My Special Aflac Duck ® – a unique social robot – designed to provide comfort, joy and medical play to patients. Children with cancer, ages 3 and up, can receive their own My Special Aflac Duck –free-of-charge – by asking their healthcare team.

Wonders & Worries Registered Provider Program
Wonders & Worries is an Austin-based non-profit providing psychosocial support services for children impacted by an adult’s illness. The curriculum has been validated both qualitatively and quantitatively, and is backed by many years of experience. It is available as a training opportunity for clinicians wishing to broaden their skill set with this population. The Registered Wonders & Worries Provider program provides training, consultation and ongoing support to clinicians who wish to become part of our network and support families within their hospitals or communities. In addition to the Registered Provider program, Wonders & Worries also offers training through webinars and online continuing education courses.
Kids Kicking Cancer
The Heroes Circle program provides therapeutic martial arts classes and hospital visits for children, teens, and siblings. Our mission is to ease the pain of very sick children while empowering them to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally. Virtual classes, one-on-one sessions with martial artists, and tapped mini classes now offered. Martial Arts Super Power Kits available to order, includes empowerment coloring book and activities for children experiencing illness. All programs are cost-free for families.
