“Conversations with child life specialists from the United States, Laos, Taiwan, England, Canada, and India highlighted that despite differences in country and culture, we all strive to improve the lived experiences of children and families facing challenging healthcare experiences. I had the sense that we have so much to learn from one another, and that sharing support and ideas internationally truly can lead to improvements in healthcare experiences for children throughout the world.”
