The Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) will provide three international scholarships to enable recipients to attend the Child Life Annual Conference, which is currently scheduled to take place May 27–30 at the JW Marriott in Los Angeles, California. (If the conference is held online, International Scholarship recipients will receive complimentary registration.)
Each scholarship will cover registration for the conference, up to five nights lodging at the conference hotel, actual cost of economy round-trip airfare up to $1,800 U.S., and a small stipend for meals and incidentals.
Please review the application carefully in order to understand what expenses are covered by the scholarship.
Applicants may be from any country outside North America.
(Residents of Canada, the United States, and US territories are not eligible.) Applications are encouraged from any healthcare professional outside North America who has an interest in the psychosocial care of children. The award process will look most favorably on professional practitioners or administrators in a position to be able to introduce, or greatly enhance, psychosocial care consistent with
child life practice and principles in their respective parts of the world. Applicants must have proficiency in English, as it is the official language of the conference.
We encourage ACLP members who have worked in care facilities around the world to help spread news of this opportunity to individuals who may be interested in applying.
