Volunteer Profiles

The ACLP Board and staff are grateful for the hard work of a dedicated network of volunteers who use their time and talents to advance the profession and support the child life community. Beginning the week of March 10, volunteer profiles will be featured on the website. Beginning the week of March 17, educator profiles will be featured on the website. Please join us in recognizing the dedication and commitment of all who educate and guide aspiring child life professionals.

Community-Based Profiles

For many years, child life professionals have been a consistent and valued presence in medical settings that provide pediatric care. As the field of child life has evolved, Certified Child Life Specialists have successfully integrated their unique skills set into alternative settings like funeral homes, schools, hospice centers, and shelters. Beginning the week of March 24, profiles of child life professionals working in community-based settings will be featured on the website. Join us as we celebrate the support they provide to children and families experiencing stressful situations.
