Is a subscription required to enter and view data?

No. Any child life program can enter data and view basic comparisons and reports for free. Programs that want access to full filtering and reporting features can purchase an annual subscription. Visit the CLPDC subscriptions page to learn more.

Why can't I enter data into the system?

There are several reasons you might not have the ability to enter data. If you are not the leader of clinical child life program, you likely do not have access to data entry. 

If you believe your program should be included or if you will be entering data on behalf of a clinical program leader, please contact us at datacenter@childlife.org and we'll be happy to assist you.

Why do I see only some data?

There are several reasons you'll only see some data:

1. If you do not work at a clinical child life program, you will be able to see industry-level data only.
2. If you work at a child life program but your program did not enter the minimum amount of annual and/or quarterly data, you will see limited data and reports.
3. If you work at a child life program but your program does not have a current CLPDC subscription, you will see limited data and reports. You may purchase a CLPDC subscription at any time.

How do we track our quarterly data?

Different data tracking methods will work for different programs. Program leaders are encouraged to engage their staff in discussions about what is realistic and doable for them. That said, the Benchmarking Subcommittee has developed a few sample data collection tools that can be adapted for use at the program level.

How can I get CLPDC dates and deadlines automatically added to my work calendar?

If you use Outlook, Apple iCal, Google Calendar, or your iPhone calendar, follow the step-by-step directions linked below. Once these instructions are completed, your work calendar will automatically update with quarterly and annual data deadlines, upcoming CLPDC Office Hours, and the dates when new reports will be available!
