The Child Life Professional Data Center (CLPDC) is a tool to help child life programs track and compare programmatic and capacity for patient impact data with others. The CLPDC tracks both annual and quarterly data on child life programs. All data will be entered and housed in a robust platform that allows users to compare data and run reports.All programs can enter data for free and receive basic reporting features.

Participants can compare their staffing, services, and capacity for patient/family impact data for the entire field or use filters to compare against similar programs (i.e. hospital type, location, # of child life FTEs, etc).
The CLPDC contains built-in reports that display data in charts that users can download, either for the entire field or using filters to customize the results. Slides and graphics from the reports are ready to add to presentations and can demonstrate the impact of child life services to administrators.
Developed by the Staffing Analytics Task Force, the Staffing Calculator uses your quarterly data to calculate how many child life FTEs are needed to meet the needs of at risk patients in your settings.

All programs can enter data for free and receive basic reports. If your program is looking to get more from your data and gain access to all reporting and filtering features, then a CLPDC subscription might be right for your team! Subscriptions are available to any hospital participating in the data center but are not a prerequisite for CLPDC access and use.
