Hispanic Heritage Month is observed each year from September 15 to October 15 to recognize and celebrate the many contributions, diverse cultures, and extensive histories of the American Latino community (US Department of Education).

Serving Hispanic and Latinx populations requires awareness of cultural differences and gaps in healthcare, education, and community equity. The following resources can help CCLSs better understand these gaps and how to navigate them in child life.
