ACLP is seeking passionate volunteers to contribute their expertise and help shape the future of the child life profession. As an ACLP volunteer, you’ll play a key role in developing resources, initiatives, and programs—aligning with ACLP’s Strategic Plan to strengthen our profession.

ACLP volunteers drive key initiatives, including expanding professional education, advancing research, strengthening member engagement, and promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion. By volunteering, you help move this work forward and make a lasting impact.

Eligibility & Expectations:

You must be a member of ACLP and your ACLP membership must remain active for the duration of your term. Committee members are required to attend meetings as scheduled. Plan to respond to committee communications in a timely manner.

Length of Volunteer Service:

- A standard committee term is 2 years.

- A participant may be removed from a committee or task force by the Board of Directors based on non-compliance with the role description, charter, objectives, values, or policies of ACLP.
